Dr. Kent Zocher spent his formative years growing up in a small, rural community in central Wisconsin. Immediately following his graduation from high school, Dr. Kent enlisted in the U.S. Army. He proudly served as an infantryman with the 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Upon completion of his tour, Dr. Kent attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point earning a degree in biology with a minor in music. He was then accepted in Marquette School of Dentistry and completed his doctorate degree in 1999. Next, Dr. Kent was offered a pediatric dental residency at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin where he earned his specialty certification in 2002. He has limited his practice to the treatment and care of children, adolescents and those with special needs.
Pediatric dentistry has been a perfect fit for Dr. Kent. The energy, sense of humor and frankness of children makes going to work exciting, fun and fulfilling! Additionally, helping those with special needs has been an honor and a privilege and gives Dr. Kent a great deal of satisfaction. Developing a trusting relationship in a safe environment with the greatest level of care possible, is always his ultimate goal.
Dr. Kent is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Wisconsin Society of Pediatric Dentists.
When not in the office, Dr. Kent is usually in the woods or on the water. Most recently, he traveled into the Yucatan jungle with his recurve bow and cedar arrows to complete the World Slam of turkey hunting. He also regularly performs professionally as a drummer in several bands locally and abroad. He lives in Campbellsport with his lovely wife, Stacy and daughter, Tessa and often visits his son, Tanner, who is completing his degree at UW-Madison.
